Yeah, they are pretty cool. The only thing I worry about with used/vintage dive watches is the waterproofness. best to get seals replaced and watch pressure tested before getting it more than a little wet.

Thanks for the tip. I am not paying retail when I can get the big daddy for a lot less. My serious diver will stay the Seiko SCC017. It is way too good at too many things. Vintage beater watches, I have a weak spot for those things...

I love my 7002, it's just different enough from the SKX to be more awesome!! Crown at 4 o'clock which gives it a slightly slimmer profile, date only vs day/date and square vs oval indices.

Need to post my Turtle re-issue in the watch thread. Have had it for a little over a year.. it's my first mech. LOVE IT. The pad and raised bezel means business. Dig the (authentic) tool-y look and functionality.. looks classy too.

Lost a SKX171 modded with a Murphy bezel due to theft. Maybe I should recreate it before they disappear.
