Haven't kept up with it, though, since I moved to a dedicated DAP.

USB Audio Player Pro is the one to get. It supports the DAC in your phone directly.

Neutron for me (quirky interface but very good EQ). BubbleUpnp for streaming to/from the network.

I'm not sure how UAPP would directly access the DAC at low level unless your device is rooted.

they wrote their own usb audio driver that does the trick somehow. their website talks about it. https://www.extreamsd.com/index.php/products/usb-audio-player-pro

Interesting and it supports many built-in DACs as well. I wonder if this will work over BT.
