Thinking about it, no duh, but I feel power delivery doesn't matter as much for BA IEMs as DD. None of the usual improvements IME. Mar 26, 2024 at 8:17 PM

Weeb is a shorter version of weeaboo which is a catch all term for anime fans outside of Japan.

Psycho Pass was an anime with a lot of western sci fi influences. Season 1 was great, season 2 was trash, the movie was nice. Season 3 has me nervous.

My grandmother played on it a lot before she passed away. It's well out of tune now but I still remember some of the old ditties she'd hammer out while I was trying to study, haha.

And eh, aunt gets a piano and we get a place to live. Asian families. Woo.

I used to work at Gibson and used to hear the calls from the guys next to me from customers calling about pianos. Don't worry about getting it in perfect tune. Just get it in tune with itself to not stress the soundboard.

@PTS the movie definitely has a lot of that. I'm in the psych field so was leery about gratuity there as well, but putting the fact that I'm easily irritated by how mental illness is often portrayed in cinema aside, the film was just great at pulling on the right strings to keep me on seat's edge.

The movie is definitely a downer by the way, so if you're the type who has strong empathy definitely stay away from this one.

I just happen to have a thing for films that take an effort to watch. They do a better job drawing you in, counterintuitively enough.

SBAF compensation pending minor tweaks. Bass is a bit muddier, but not enough to make me hate it. Still damn good quality. Bit of heavier rumble in subbass makes it fun. Doesn't actually sound this elevated though. Used a weak glue stick to adhere felt disc directly onto driver mesh, 6.5kHz elevation does stick out but is less painful than stock sizzle where everything >6kHz was hot.
