    It's like a smoother version of the Sony MDR7506. Not as sibiliant or harsh treble. Still tuned a bit too bright IMO

    7506's never had bass like M50's. Certainly smoother, yes.

    I'm probably most impressed by the long term durability of the M50. This is a good choice for teenagers that are hard on things.
