Shouldn't ruin anything for you at all. Most of my favorite music is on the computer and I enjoy the shit out of it.
Even if vinyl makes digital unlistenable, you can throw in a half bottle of rumchata and even Trump sounds okay.

I've found that cask-strength Bourbon is a great equalizer in all situations, except with EDM on the HD800 without mods.
