I've always felt Qobuz sounded better, but neither service has remotely the library size of Spotify. So I settle for Spotify's 320kbps streaming, and if I like something a lot, I'll buy it on Bandcamp / Tape / Vinyl

Why not use both? Spotify is great for non-serious listening in the car.

Pay yearly and Qobuz is only $150

2 months free! considering I spend about 8-10 times as much time listening to music than watching Netflix, Netflix now looks like the waste of money.

hardest part about this is going to be extracting the titles in my roon library that are currently tidal versions, and replacing them with the qobuz. not looking forward to that.

I assume there is a way to extricate the Tidal versions easily. Maybe disconnect your Tidal account from Roon? I would search Roon forums.

Roon's got a couple ways to export library metadata - will probably do that then do a quick filter where file source /= my volumes, then see if there's a way to create a playlist in qobuz. iirc there's a plist/csv playlist converter for exactly this type of thing but i'll need to dig.

Update: this is a PITA across multiple devices with downloaded content.

Update: Qobuz still kicks some serious ass.
