Get a cheaper RWD car and practice drifting before buying a collectable. Preferably on a closed course... cough cough late night at the mall parking lot.
Yeah, that is my plan. I had some fun a bit ago drifting/donuting my impreza around an empty parking lot at 3 am, and met some car guys at taco bell that drifted with me, some guy was doing donuts around my car, was pretty fun. But I need a RWD manual. Hopefully next summer I should have the money. Problem is I have a good car now that is safe, and my parents don't want me to have a RWD car with the snow.
I had a new '85 GTS coupe. Fun car, but it needed to be revved to make any real power. Looks like you could get a GTS for not much more than an SR5, and the GTS is a much nicer car not just for the engine.
