    @Thad E Ginathom or if the point of departure is in the negatives, perhaps it'll be pleasant (given the body has enough time to adjust and DigMe doesn't go from flash-frozen to microwave like a cheap hot dog).

    Based on most recent numbers at home I went from 3f (with negative windchill) to 106 heat index. Celsius is from -16 to 41 heat index.

    41C is pretty bad even for those of us that are used to it in mid summer and who don't go much under +20C in mid winter. I am not sure if I would have ever experienced -16C: I don't think my parts of UK ever got that cold. Freezing, yes, but maybe not -16C freezing.

    I’ve experienced 41 or higher plenty of times in Texas summers. It’s just weird to step on that plane in such extreme cold and step off in such heat!
