    Another vote for the groove. Have had mine for a couple of years. Give it clean power and it will do a bit better but for my use case(general pc use) it's not worth it.

    Looks like the Groove has 21 ohms OI; at least back in 2016. FD01 impedance is flat so shouldn’t really affect it but if you get any hybrids, it might not be so good.

    The $100 es100 sounds great with the JVC HA-FDX1. I get zero hiss from the Andromedas and you can hook it up to a laptop. If you need more power, it has a balanced 2.5 connector. *Bonus* you can use it as a bluetooth receiver.
