Sucks because Logitech mice feel the most ergonomic to my hand. Decided to give Razer a try.

What model were you using? I got about 6 years out of my G400 before the switches crapped out. Now using MX518 Legendary.
EDIT: What Razer did you settle on?

Yeah I've been using Logitech for years, but the cheaper stuff. Fits my hand best - and that's what counts for me.

Try contacting them, they are pretty good about replacing things if they break

You can rejuvenate the switches: at first sight they look like sealed units, but they are not. The top cover has a clip at each end. Use a bit of tape to secure the white button or you'll loose it.

Use deoxit or similar. I clean the contacts by pulling a tiny slip of paper through.

I have a Roccat mouse now. It has done a couple of years, with just a little contact cleaning. I'm totally tied into its programmable buttons now: I guess I should buy a spare while they still make it.

You might consider the Endgame Gear XM1. It's not an ergo shape, but I somehow found it very comfortable nonetheless.

The Razer Viper is also surprisingly comfortable despite not being an ergo shape. Maybe not as good for me as the XM1, but I still use the Viper over the XM1 since it's wireless.

@spwath, I'm using a G903, and it's out of warranty. 2nd time this happened, same mouse.

Ended up feeling and buying a Deathadder. Thought I might get a Basilisk since I liked the G502 back in the day but liked the Deathadder shape better

I actually had the same thing happen to my g602, and I think twice, they replaced it the first time. I have an mx master now, I really like it. Have had it for like 2 years with no issue

Yeah, the customer service wasn't bad. Just expected more from a mouse that costs what it does. My old wired G502, for referemce, works perfectly fine.

Wish the Deathadder came wireless (spoiled I know)
