$1 too much. On a serious note, maybe $20-$40 bucks max, I dunno. I'm cheap on cables.

Blue jeans cables work great and are inexpensive.

I'd second @Gaspasser's recommendation for Blue Jeans Cables. They're not overpriced and built like a tank.

You can also try Pangea cables. There was a thread here somewhere where Marv reviewed interconnects and that one rated quite highly.

Digital or analogue? It matters. That said, stuff like phono connectors won't be to digital spec anyway.

Otherwise, when I'm not using any old thing from the heap, I'll add my vote for Blue Jeans.

I think all of my cables (except my USB cables and phono cable) are from Blue Jeans cables.

All you Blue Jean fans...fan of their speaker cable? Have some nice speakers on the way that finally deserve some decent cables. Don't want to spend a ton right away though.

@luckybaer BJC interconnects are low capacitance and are excellent phono cables too. Just use the ground cable that came with the table. @Inoculator BJC speaker cables are excellent, I have a pair I bought used here.

    "Ultrasonically-Welded Connections"

Just love the idea! Given that it is Blue Jeans, and not priced absurdly, I'm prepared to trust that it isn't bullshit.

I never bought any. Only used ordinary stuff for speakers, and would be quite prepared to use electricity cable. But if I did, Ultrasonically-Welded Connections... Mmmmmm :)

I don't call Blue Jeans cheap, just not audiophool. I have interconnects: build and component quality makes their prices reasonable, and there is so need to pay more. Is my view.

I use BJC for everything (including phono), and have never had one fail after 7+ years.

If you’re planning on running MM carts with your 1210 you’ll want cable capacitance to be as low as you can get, and BJCs will fit the bill in that respect.

How about MC cartridges? Do I need to pay as much attention to capacitance?

Just purchased a 4' pair in white w/techflex + FedEx 2nd Day for $49.50. Can't go wrong to see if I notice an improvement over the stock cables.
