Ya, this was not a good idea. I feel bad for Dan. I like the guy but this does make it seem like the company is desperately trying to stay afloat. Not confidence-inspiring to say the least.

I lost count of how many times I scrolled down to get there, vaguely realising that I was seeing repetitive information and stupid pictures.

Lousy marketing. If they cut 2/3rds of it they might hold people's attention.

(In the above context, stupid pictures is all that stuff that looks like stock photos, even if it isn't. Nice but boring furniture and fixed smiles.)

I am curious to see how much money they actually get from this campaign. It's rough for entrepreneurs at the moment so I feel a bit sympathetic. I think it just brutally difficult to build a company around selling headphones.

Zach seems to have figured it out. You can't compete on price with the big boys so you offer what they can't, a bespoke experience with exotic materials, and the knowledge that the designer's hands actually touched your set. I hope Dan figures it out because I do like the Aeon 2 Open.

Didn't expect something like this from Dan. Other than some ear pads issues, I've always enjoyed the build quality on his headphones. The Aeon Flow Open are still at the top of my list to when considering timbre. I guess the very generous return policy (full refund) and what I see as the underwhelming Ether 2 isn't helping. I hope he pulls through and keeps making headphones.
