I've almost bought a router several times. My biggest issue is I'd need to experiment a bit to learn how to use it. Plunger vs. table...do I need both? This is the stuff I dont have a clue about. My woodworking skills are pretty caveman.

My woodworking skills are totally caveman. Cannot get on with the stuff at all. Power tools make it possible to screw up so much more, so much faster!
