Just curious. What made Pagaron your dream speakers? I only knew that model from some historical descriptions, thought it interesting, but never considered it real thing we can dump our cash into. To me something like JBL4350/55 could be closer to more predictable sounding I believe.

It looks weird to me, and might seriously sound best in the space it was built for. But spwath probably now knows more about speakers than I ever did.

From what I have heard about them, sound is ok. They are not my dream for their sound. They probably sound pretty good, but not for the price. I just love the mid century design. Arnold Wolf was the designer, designed a few other things too

I'd take 434x or 435x over this bad boy for both sound and looks but I'll admit the Paragon has a timeless stateliness to it.

I have only heard YouTube clips of these and did not wow me as much as other JBL monitors like the 4312's or 4430's.

That's why the paragon is cool. It doesn't look like audio equipment. It looks like nice mid century furniture
