Of course I still do think, with its unbal outs,the z-sig dac already sounds very good for the money. But with the right outputs feeding into Magnius, the sound improved by one minor tick or two in EVERY category at a cost of mildly increased digitus. The sum of small changes is honestly phenomenal to me.

I imagine the Zen Dac Signature and Erish would be a pretty great combo for the money, I am tempted to get both, likely will in the future!

Yup for 650, zen-s/erish/650 combo is making me remarkably happy.. enough not to think of other alternatives at this price level. For grado-based, zen-s/magnius/hemp is a spot on. I might prefer magnius as it can do both bal and unbal headphones.. Note that the adapter I talked about didn't work for grado unfortunately. So for grados either re-termination or unbal geshelli needed.

How much was the adapter?
