Vacuum cleaner is best purchase I have ever made in the vinyl hobby. Just have an old used nitty gritty I bought, has cleaned about 600 records for me, when it dies though I will have to snag one of the newer models. Now any record that comes into the house gets a clean and moved into a poly sleeve before I spin it.

That being said, I did about 100 records with a vinyl styl cleaner (like a spin clean) and it was a pain but serviceable. Just had to do them in batches, and found I had to manually dry a bit before air dry.

All I've got is a shitty spin clean. I kinda wish there was a local service to clean super grungy LPs. Or I could borrow a decent vac machine for a day. mostly rich people problems, no doubt.

Fancy machines, fancy fluids, may be best but...

NB: microfibre is wonderful. With a home-made IPA solution.

disclosure: it's been a decade or so since I consigned the deck to the cupboard.
