I always feel ambivalent whenever seeing end-game items in one hobby are priced lower than entry/budget ones in another hobby.. Mar 22, 2024 at 4:49 PM

Thought vinyl for kinda hardcore enthusiasts only. Now it exceeded cd in revenue (both US and UK). In UK it even beat streaming revenue wow.

That's just because CDs are dying, and streaming revenue is low. Vinyl is still super niche. I mean, the number one album in vinyl was Fleetwood Mac. That's not exactly a top 40 smash hit album in 2020.

This doesn’t disprove your point about vinyl being niche, but Fleetwood Mac got a significant bump in interest across the board this year because of that guy dogface on tik tok.

Cinematic experience of the main scenario was great, however I could be easily and happily distracted by lots of puzzles (not a hardcore puzzle lover btw). The game really nailed in balancing funs from these two aspects. Engagement damn well maintained for the entire hours I spent.

It too much reminded me of the Uncharted played quite a few years ago though.

Lala's character also successfully re-defined imo (wasn't a big fan of the original series). The plot in this work seems rather a characterization than a progression though. Nevertheless, Lala's transformation (young archeologist to mass destroying fighter) felt impressively cohesive between plots and in-game ability progress.

        Yeah.

Zen signature (not non-signature which is leagues below) had less dark presentation, a little crispier attacks, and tad more delineation not losing BF2's beauties much, which all synergize with musical contexts I listen to mostly.

Actually subtle delta. Not enough for me to deal with drop.com hassles.

Look, chips can work in the dark. Let it be so. Computers don't need lighting any more than the undersides of cars do. Especially funky lighting. For either.

I have one fan that has a white light: well, it tells me that it is power, I can more easily see it spinning, and know that my hard disks are getting some nice draught. I have never purposely bought lights or a device with lights, for a PC. And never will.

My motherboard and RAM have rgb but I just set them to white. My first computer I built had all blue LED lights, including stripper-heel clear fans. That was pretty much your only option back then. I've also had red themed and green themed PCs, but now I like the neutrality of white.

They basically sound like a harder wood because there's no pores anymore, so they lack decay, but they sound like a wood and sand and finish like one. The extra cost is all cost for the custom large pieces of stabilized wood we have to buy that end up costing around 200+ usd per board foot and takes a long time to prepare.

It's actually in the wood! (which is why the depth and chatoyance is so insane) They use this stuff called "cactus juice" after the wood is at 0% humidity to penetrate the entire thing in a vacuum chamber. it's really wild during machining because of the burl and color throughout the entirety of the wood were always holding our breath to see what the final look of each set will be based on how it cuts.

Maybe iFi felt like they weren't getting anything out of the partnership with Drop, and are kind of dragging their feet as a result. It seemed weird to me anyway. If you have a good product, why not just sell direct?

They just posted a update about it, seems like Ifi shipped everything on time but their warehouse dropped the ball completely. They say their warehouse has recieved the units but they dont yet know when they are shipping them. Assuming covid has their warehouse in disarray but certainly not a good look for Drop, seems like they are pretty poorly managed these days.
