    The new finish on this is so much nicer than the older raw finish. Silky smooth and less grainy. Also making the remote magnetic was brilliant, I just stuck it to the side of the DAC so it never gets lost.

    Gave a quick demo listen but compared to the Bifrost 1 it's replacing, this is more detailed, blacker background, and feels snappier. It's still warming up so not listening super critically, but it already sounds accomplished and extremely musical.

    Tried it last night. The magnet isn't centered, so it tends to slide down a bit. I wonder about scratching of the chassis with repeated "snaps". Cool idea, but I think I'll leave it on top of the drawer liner beside the PI2AES. I never use it anyway :-P
