Reid Willis, "She Dreamt Her Hands Were Constellations". And tell me if the massive HF clipping (and not the intentional record spinning noises dead center) I'm hearing are there for you, too. I keep trying out different chains, but I've got limited sources. DO hear it thru Yggdrasil, DON'T hear it through iFi Nano iDSD. Will try BF2 tomorrow.
Just tried on Tidal. Yggdrasil A2 —> RCA —> Asgard 2 —> HD600. What’s the time stamp when you hear it? I’m not familiar with this music so to me there’s lots of unpleasant noise, especially in the 2:00-3:30 range.
@yotacowboy, whenever I have experiences like that, it's always been because of the mastering, issues with the file itself (bad transfer/encode), or a random hair that was touching the headphone driver just right. :)
rewind to that one time years ago I ordered a new driver pod from Senn only to later find a hair scraping the driver... edit: also, Reid Willis, you need to not mix your shit so hot. Max Cooper can prolly teach you a thing or two.
I did not hear anything out of character for this type music. No overt distortion, then again if it is higher than 12k I probably would not hear it. The slight treble tings starting around 2 min something and going left right sounded ok.
