Any cost/availability issues with the white? If you're keeping the same paint, black would be cool too. I think I'd go black to minimize the dirt/sun/discolouration potential.

Both are the same price from the same place, so no issues there. As far as dirt and discoloration goes, my buddy has a 72 new yorker with a black top and it collects dirt like a magnet. I think white might actually stay clean looking longer. If I go white I'll also be painting the wheels the same green as the car.

Growing up my father had a 66 Newport that yours (is it a Monaco? Polaris?) reminds me of. BTW, I'd go white.

Have you considered a light tan? That'd go well with that paint too. But I think of white, tan, black my pref would be in that order.
