for RSS try Feedly. better with 3rd party app "Reeder" as a front end.

Inoreader has been rocking my world lately.

For RSS feeds that show the excerpt only, Inoreader can fetch the full text and format it for easy reading on mobile. I could never figure out how to get Feedly to do that. This 1 feature is a gamechanger for me.

Inoreader can also turn web pages into a feed. Haven't used that feature much, but it promises to make Inoreader a 1-stop-shop for most of my online reading. And it's nice software. Good web app + iOS apps.

haven’t paid a dime to Feedly. Reeder is entirely optional.

maybe you got grandfathered? I see $72 a yr as the cheapest option. Unless I am missing something. https://feedly.com/i/pro/welcome.
