That’s how I felt after the second shot. Pretty severe stiffness and aches throughout my body. Finally took a Tylenol and it helped.

I didn't get anything weird except a minor sore left arm when I got my first Pfzer shot last Friday.

Congratulations, sounds like you contracted COVID before and got off light. Correlation between that response and previous infection is pretty ironclad.

Glad you're all getting vaxxed. Wish it was happening faster in Canada where my family is. No rush here in Taiwan, other than to get a VaxPort so we can travel again. Wife is jonesing to go to Europe and buy designer handbags ...

I got mine Sat. Sore arm for a day or so. I had a bad headache Sun, but I get migraines when the weather changes (which it did), so I am calling coincidence.

I didn’t feel much from either Moderna shot. Wife had some weird jaw pain and tingliness.

@Taverius I live In a part of LA county that was hit pretty hard around the holidays. A lot of people around here didn’t take it seriously and for a while it felt like everyone I knew was sick. Maybe I did get it without symptoms.

First shot went smoothly though. It was the second shot that f’d me up.

Edit** Reading online, seems like those who had been infected show a greater response to the first dose.

You probably didn't have the rona then.

That sort of reaction to the first shot has led to some research papers and legislation that allows people with positive returns to tests to only need 1 shot of the vaccine to be considered fully vaccinated, so it's very much *a thing*.

Although, just like some people don't feel the second, some people just shrug both vaccines shots off, because nothing in biology can be simple!

That’s interesting. Just asked someone who had gotten Covid if the first shot made them sick and sure enough they said that it did.

Yeah I have a friend that positively had COVID and her first shot reaction was the most extreme I’ve heard of. She’s not getting a second.

First shot, but AstraZeneca (here in India) gave me like 16-hour corvid. I even had low SPO2 in the night! A friend mentioned it might indicate that I'd had the disease already. Period for this vax 2nd shot extended, or else I could be done by now. See what number two brings
