    ^ Didn't know that. Feels bad when you wake up the 2nd time in the morning though.

    Normally sleep anywhere from 10-1AM.

    Maybe let your body adjust. Happened to me too when I change my sleeping hours.

    A sleep doctor would tell you to force yourself to stay up so you'll definitely sleep through the next night. Then, bear in mind that according to medical research, one's wake time sets / resets one's sleep cycle. So always stick to the same wake up time.

    I have a similar condition. Can't go to bed before 12am without waking up at 3 or 4am and it usually is accompanied with a feeling of anxiety and depression.

    @EagleWings - That's rough. Hope it passes for you. I normally just browse random internet, work, or sometimes PC games before going back to bed.

    Thank you. I hope it passes for you too. I've had this for more than a decade now, so I've learnt to live with it by going to bed after 12. I'll probably visit a sleep clinic at some point.

    @penguins, I second @EagleWings' idea of doing a sleep study guided by a doctor in a sleep clinic. Most people moderately benefit from it. And for a smaller subset, the improvements are genuinely *life-changing*—so why haven't I done it yet?!
