This would be the right way, however ..
- a person who has not accustomed to hearing fine things, does not hear all of it in the first time. It takes conditioning.
Not only does your vocabulary fail, but it also gets increasingly difficult to describe why X is better/more refined/different than Y as your invest more in tailoring the sound to your personal tastes.
This is why I can't share impressions anymore. Having different shades of really good sound is one thing, almost no one can relate to the gear so I can say headphone X is super nice but I've no idea how it sounds on other gear. Also I feel the driving gear has taken hold of the overall sound signature where all headphones are to my tastes. Fell in love with HD800 where for years I couldn't stand it long term.
