    But nah while I do get that some IEMs have particular specialties to them (I find that it's easier to get a nice fake headstage with IEMs for whatever reason) circumaurals are just another category entirely.

    IEMs have their place. There are several very good IEMs I’d take over many over ear headphones, but my main headphone will never be an IEM.
