There are some great museums as Marvey mentioned. Eat your way through for sure. Lots of great restaurants but it has been a while since I lived in the area so others are prob more qualified to recommend. I do love Churrasco’s though. South American steakhouse. One of the steaks with the jalapeno crema *chef kiss*
Try Bellaire for some amazing asian food. Hoodadak for some great Korean wings. Kim Son for dim sum. El Palenque for tasty Tex Mex and their Beeritas. Fish Houston for their sushi. Tons of great food spots.
I dunno how much you want to subject yourself to more meat but Corkscrew BBQ is an idea. Another place I always check out is Anvil bar, they usually havesome hard to find Scotches available.
