Well, I do sometimes feel that mine is a bit meh for the first 15-30 mins, but nothing huge so could just be in my head. Certainly sounds 'normal' from cold much quicker than my Asgard 3 does

What’s weird is I really liked the IEMagni and the 3+ doesn’t really sound like that at all. The IEMagni had some real balls in the low end and the 3+ is just there.

Any reason not to go for heresy instead of 3+? Given your preference to IEmag.

I was told Magni 3+ sounded better. I should have just gotten the IEMagni. It’s a moot point now anyway, thankfully.

I leave it on all the time. It's my work rig, so often not paying attention, but today, running a HE-4XX, it made some Fleetwood Mac really pop. Great attack on the guitar and drums.

It improved some...maybe a litte from cold. Low gain is much better. I am still not impressed and Vali 2 is still better in some respects.

@Azimuth I think the Vali 2+ is one of Schiit’s all time best amps.

Vali 2 is quite amazing, esp. when you consider the price.

Leaving it on overnight and setting it to low gain did help with the sound, this is more of what I was expecting.
