I'm not that keen on in-ear, except for travel, but on the other hand, I do prefer to cradle my ears rather than crush them.

Since when do on ears have better noise isolation?

All my headphones are open-back anyway. I never liked the closed-back isolation feeling. In fact, it put me off headphones for decades

I still dig my Kef M500s for this. Light, unintrusive, don't f**k with my glasses, easy to take off and on at work.
