"Metallica (Deluxe Box Set)" on Apple Music lossless. The thing I hate about modern Metallica live performances is Lars dumbing-down some of the more intricate drum fills from Puppets and Justice. Heh, I thought he was a drumming god the first time I heard Justice on cassette..

@rott so true. He makes no bones about not practicing. James' and Kirk's tones are a lot thicker as well, and seem to have less cutting definition. The Moscow show is Golden Era stuff.

James is as good as you could expect after 40 years, but Lars and Kirk are getting sloppy. I grew up listening to Neil Peart, John Bonham and Keith Moon, so Lars never really impressed me to begin with lol

Looks like Expanded only has a few tracks from Moscow, whereas the Deluxe Box Set has the whole concert

@gixxerwimp the tidal version of the album has all the tracks. Something like 10 disc's worth total. It's huge. I'm just disappointed that my hometown show from the Arco Arena sounds like a bootleg
