Not to be nosey but how are you affording it? It’s a very expensive technology to do right. Your posts about the MJ1 gave me the impression you don’t have 6,000$ to throw at an e-stat rig. Just curious. Are you doing something cheaper? Lambdas maybe?
With own epic failures, I learned super thin tech was no go. No lambdas either (sonic and BQ issues).
The best estat experience to me indeed achieved with sth affordable.. But with too costly amp loaned to me. I finally managed to find a realistic candidate to try out.
Btw I'm paying attention to estats again because they're lighter by nature. Miss their coloration, too.
Good guess. You're half right. Actually I'm buying back Hive I sold to my local friend months ago. I'm also buying the amp he used as well, which surprisingly sounded more capable than I thought it would.
