Take Aegir spot-on tonality/vocal realism, and dial stage depth, dynamics and drive up to 11. Seems to be a robust 30WPC, I can barely turn the volume up with my nearfield LS3/5A setup.
I've always wondered if the Brit hifi mags were just blushing over hometown kit or if Sugden actually deserved a listen. consider your word a warning shot over the bow!
I feel bad after watching you put all that effort into the Schiit stack, but good that you found something to replace (parts of) it in relatively short order.
@Qildail the life of a perpetual gear swapper...don't be like me. I am sure I will own the full Schiit stack again someday, really killer value setup. I am just always chasing the perfect synergy with the LS3/5A, I just may never find it, but thrill of the chase and all that. Going to be going back to trying some el34 push pull stuff soon also
