@Riotvan I actually tried a set of those for a few weeks before selling my Freya+. Did not notice a huge difference, but peace of mind and all that. Certainly was not running into tube noise issues when using them.
Yeah i have no problems either other than seemingly having some tubes make some noise due to digital clipping like from the tubes itself. That was pretty wild haha. Those feet are interesting though if only to raise the amp for better airflow underneath. Having some random rubber under there now.
@Riotvan That is the main reason I went for them for the Sugden I figured even just better airflow wouldn't hurt. The stock feet were just short chunks of metal screwed on with a tiny ring of rubber. All the Herbie's stuff falls into the just cheap enough for peace of mind catagory for me. Only startlingly better addition was decoupling my speakers with fat dots compared to blue tack.
I’m a big proponent of decoupling speakers and subs so I’m not at all surprised at your findings! Going to have another look on that site, like you said it’s all priced very reasonably. Just shipping and import duties are something to consider for me…
I've used Herbie's products for years. Tenderfeet under disc players and DAC, and baby booties under lighter game consoles, Apple TV, and now Pi2AES even. I haven't added anything to my Coda amp yet, but that thing weighs 110 lbs so not sure Tenderfeet are the best choice. :)
@zonto They make firm tenderfeet for components up to 200lb! I stuck with the soft tall for my Sugden since just 35 lbs. Glad to hear other folks around here have enjoyed. I have not tried the baby booties, will have to check that out for pi2aes/rega PSU.
