i like where this could go. kinda, maybe, audiophiles have no right to compel Sean Olive to call them anything other than consumers? or, do both Peterson and Olive obfuscate through intentional ambiguity?
Charming but inaccurate. Sean Olive is a populist: what most people prefer should be a standard. Jordan Peterson simply made a standard based on what he prefers and says other people should prefer it also.
Sean Olive was a pioneer of making people aware of the existence of bias in the audio world. He built a wonderful setup to silently shift speakers behind an audio-transparent curtain so that listeners really could not see what they were hearing.
