Seems the Harman 2024 (beta) target is close to DF on B&K 5128, just more sedate in treble. Even more upper mids vs current target though. Apr 20, 2024 at 6:51 AM

What grit whetstone do you guys use for finishing surfaces? Getting back into fountain pen nib grinding but can't find my old go-to buffer.

Hi @EagleWings! Doing fairly well I'd say, just that things are still progressing at a snail's pace and I seem to be stuck with a mild cough that's not going away. Ugh.

@Cryptowolf I forgot Goulet sold micromesh! It's honestly been forever since I worked on my own nibs and I've never actually tried buying directly from some of the bigger western retailers. Thanks for the poke haha.

The Swarm (La Nuée) is a film that does a damned good job making your skin crawl. Sound is excellent at driving you up the wall too. Blergh.

There are a few standout plot holes and clunky bits over the runtime but it's not the kind of film you'll necessarily be dissecting for a class.

I actively avoid rougelikes because I get attached to characters and feel genuinely sad when they die, haha. that said I like the look of the new Darkest Dungeons with the cel shaded models, though the carriage travel is a bit... eh.

Frankly inventory is the biggest pain in the butt. Fights and exploration are pretty simple and oodles of fun.

Well the main char can't die but yeah the rest of the squad can... honestly this mod is pretty brutal and sometimes i reload if i lose a pilot or a mech needs to be rebuilt which is expensive.

Oh wow, yeah that's a fair bit more expensive ($70 is ~₱3,496 while ¥9,000 is ~₱3,953). Guess that's just a thing with cost of living being what it is in people's respective regions. It's a bit cheaper than US pricing where I live (₱3,490), but that's still a massive chunk of change. Def waiting on a sale, but I have a friend who bought it as soon as it released since she loves FF7.

Yup, Jack Conte and his wife Nataly Dawn are Pomplamoose. See them on the Tube.

He created Patreon as a way for people to support them and other artists that people love, without the recording industry as a middleman.

Also, I don't think I'll be wanting a torch that goes quite that hot for fear of melting my walls, @Thad E Ginathom :P
