@rlow A little more more $, but it was actually a demotion based on the job level at my work (I went down one grade). For career viewpoint, it was a great move since the role is building future people managers.
As @purr1n said before (which I stress this a lot at work to others), you sometimes need to move down if you want to move up. This one was one of those moments and I'm happy my new boss wants to help me build future people management skills. At my job it is hard to find people who want to develop you into greatness and have a good track record of doing it.
Don't know a thing about underwriting, but I'm a great judge of character. For the right price I will vet everything your team does and it'll all come out all right for ya, making you look like a genius ;)
