    I have the 65 Sony A80J and it is great. A80J to A90J is only a 5% to 10% upgrade at best.

    Are you blind? ;) Honestly the A80J is very bright in my apartment. Unless you have lights up the butt in your living room, I'm not convinced the upgrade is worth it IMO.

    Why not wait and see? You can save toward it in the mean time. The QD panels look like a worthwhile upgrade for red and gold tones.

    The Sony panels are beautiful as is their usability. I've had 3 Samsung sets and each of them has been disappointing/had issues + they force you into their "ecosystem" which suuucks. HDR gamut is nice but, as a film pro, anything over a couple hundred nits makes me want to gouge my eyes out. Maybe that's just me, though :-)
