Sound is killer for a live recording, but it's the incredible backing performances from an amateur church band/choir that are so astonishing. The "Complete" is much better than the original 1972 record as it preserves the original performance sequence. It's on Spotify and Tidal to check out. There's also a great documentary film if you get intrigued.

@yotacowboy - the stereo serves as TV output as well. My 22yo son wanted to watch a movie with his gf when we were away. Even with help he just could not get it to fire up (he had changed some inputs). Ended up turning up the in-TV speakers which had never been used. And he was just fine with the resulting sound.

My wife enjoys music (but taps out at Sun Ra) and likes how the rig sounds but she would NEVER have set something like this up on her own. Takes a special kind of weirdo.

I agree that a 45 shouldn’t be used for any speaker with a complex crossover, it’ll sound especially wimpy.

That is where I am at, applied it once and saw improvements but some stuff I didn't like. I have changed speaker position since then after some of my findings...kind of afraid to try it again.

@Riotvan - yeah, I think I just need time to get comfortable with teh changes. The clarity is incredible, I almost feel like I am cheating somehow.

@Inoculator right now I'm not sure if there's anything that I don't like, which is so unusual that it's making me paranoid ;) Weird feeling for sure.
