I run two volunteer organizations - a local youth swim team and a local parish church. I'm "president" of both organizations, which means I have to $collect$ money to pay pastors, coaches, building rents, etc. as well as organize, supervise, make decisions from the mundane to the critical, etc.
The fact is most of the people within these organizations and who directly benefit from them don't have a real understanding as to the time and effort it takes to accomplish everything - they simply "take it for granted". In addition, many of them have all sorts of suggestions and critiques, most of which are too ill informed and "idealistic" and are not helpful in the least.
It's frustrating when they level ignorant and unrealistic criticism but it is par for the course however. Perhaps @rhythmdevils will think it over and reconsider.
