I find them good but not great - in the same league as a lot of concha-filling dual-vented DDs (nothing like non-vented BA units, especially ergonomic ones like the Westone UM Pro series). That requires, though, that the combo of them + your fave tips fits you well - fit is an issue with these.

I would rank them as slightly less isolating than an average IEM. You’re nowhere close to a CIEM or Etymotic IEM.

They are great IEMs and worth the hype though.

After tip rolling, I find they provide standard isolation. my campfire IEMs fit my wolfy ears better.

Meant to ask - what tips have y’all settled on for 7hz?

JVC Spiral Dots. I find the OG better than the + because the stem is stiffer and doesn't come off the nozzle and stay in my ear. Haven't tried the ++ (stiff stem like OG but soft skirt like +) because $$.
