For the last 2.5 years I’ve made it a goal and priority to try to make this a better forum and I’ve invested a lot of my time and energy into that. I will now invest my time and energy into other places.

I will still be around, I love 99% of the members here as well as the community. I will be an MOT for rhythmdevils audio and a Friend only and won’t be posting reviews or content anymore. I’m still really excited about headphones and music though that hasn’t changed.

I’ll be here to share my modded orthos with you all and to dig new products and chat and surely ask some questions from the braintrust here. I am just posting this as a kind of goodbye in a way because my role here will be changing and I’ve really enjoyed my time contributing to SBAF and am grateful to everyone who has made this forum what it is. I’ll see you all around! :)

Is there any chance you'll reconsider? Take a break instead of retirement? I probably don't have any right to say anything, but as a long time reader of SBAF I've enjoyed and learned from your content.

Thank you for the kindness. Maybe, who knows. I just know that after what happened I need to put energy into other areas of my life instead of prioritizing SBAF and sacrificing some of those things.

Thanks for everything you've done for the community and for the effort you put into sbaf. There's a lot of music - and the gear to let us enjoy it - that we wouldn't know about were it not for you. I hope you remain a regular presence here, you'd be sorely missed otherwise.

Walking away from being a moderator on another forum, over a decade ago, was something I should have done a lot earlier. Some of the life I lost was not refundable.
Hey, I'm still the biggest contributor (of waffle!) to that place: I just stick to front-of-house.
