@roughroad Why now, duh, are you an anti-vaxer? Cuz it is not over, covid is still f'ing here and last time I checked so is the flu. Do what you want, but I got two shots this week.
atomicbob didn't tell us what he's being vaccinated against. Maybe its something like bass nodes! "why now?" might have meant "what now" or even... "why not yesterday!"
I'll take whatever they give me. Currently three for covid is the available number in this country.
Mind you, I am being lax about flu/H1N1. I'm getting old, I've had covid. I used to have flu jabs decades ago, but, somehow not in recent years.
Covid vaccines are a joke. There have been studies out that indicate the more jabs you receive, the more compromised your immune system becomes. If the vaccines are so great, why are the fully vaxed still getting Covid? However, I still get a flu shot every year.
Well, one data point, I haven't had even so much as a common cold since 2019. Yet I have been exposed to plenty of ill people due to my paths of exposure involving medical device research, etc.
The first thing to distrust in life is anonymous "studies!"
Do I trust the covid vaccine. I had three and... covid. I'll admit to seeing the expectations continuously downgraded. But I'll probably get more when they come along.
