Oh shit they made them 300 ohms and boosted the subbass with a resonance frequency drop to 70 hz, that is exciting. If they didnt go overboard with the subbass boost these are gonna be true contenders. Solderdude posted a long time ago on ASR about a revised version of the 660s, didnt think it would be that drastic!

HD600 is already not far off from Harman curve everywhere above 300hz. Many folks could use some extra sub, but wouldn't want the low mid dip of Harman. I don't think that would happen on the 660S2 based on its physical attributes. It would take some dramatic differences in driver damping and venting to create that sort of curve, and I don't see that in the pics. Probably sounds pretty good.
@Philimon you're more optimistic than I, sigh. I find it hard to believe it will be 6X0 good. I expect this to be another ill-thought-out money grab, but what the hell do I know, maybe Senn will pull a rabbit out and give us a technical performer with the tone and timbre and magic of the original series, the hp that we've all been hoping for.
