Sennheiser lost their luster. Their last great headphone was the HD 26 and the audiophile and consumer stuff is just “Sennheiser” branded now, not made by them. The newer made in Eastern Europe versions of the HD 650 and HD 280 mainstays sound worse. I barely used my silver lining HD 600. It sounded annoying after a couple songs.

Neumann branded everything is lifeless and dead inside now. Even the current version of the TLM 170, their flagship mic.
