@Biodegraded I remember their speakers even as a kid. My interest in headphones is much more recent. Notable that the Quad cans are planar magnetic and not estats.

I want a set. And a pair of refurbed Quad 57s. Design of the amps looks like a very nice update of the old, though can't decide whether the contemporary casework slightly diminishes the retro cool.

I've got an og one back in England, @Biodegraded, along with a 33 pre + 2 pairs of 57s, one needing fundamental repairs, the other pair to be shipped to me here in the US this winter.

Just hope they don't become glorified cat scratchers...
