    I just picked up the 2014 Parlaphone (UK) pressings of Killers through Powerslave. So far I've listened to Powerslave and Number. The vinyl is very quiet, but Powerslave sounds better for sure. I think the 1998 remaster of Number might be better, but I don't have it yet. @Psalmanazar pointed out that most of these Iron Maiden albums actually don't sound great - digital or vinyl.

    Well in general metal is poorly recorded (except some prog metal albums), but if I really want a taste of Vinyl I'd rather open with Maiden heh.

    Cymbals are notably pathetic on these records. Steve Harris's bass lines sound great though.

    From my perspective, they're going ass backwards sonically for a true vinyl experience.
