    Looks like the initial diagnosis was incorrect. Problem we checked the cpu temp by itself , but not under load. Possibly either a paste issue or the cooler is at fault. It's what happens when you don't do this often.

    I agree. I'm doing a little over clocking, but my friend convinced me to put a water cooler on, and I think that's the crux of the issue. I probably should have put new paste when I swapped mobos. That's where I'll do first.
