For inexpensive 6SN7s, I prefer the 1950s Sylvania 6SNGT or GTB green label top getters with the triangle plates. They can be found most places in the $30 range.

I think it's great. Full disclosure: I did not listen to the stock tube hahah. I have a decent entry-level 2.1 setup (OSMTs + JLH69 & 10" Parts Express kit sub) but a not-great listening room (right behind the listening position is a metal spiral staircase that literally rings audibly for a half second or so after it's excited by even something like a human voice)...
...so I'm reluctant to report detailed listening impressions which would certainly be skewed by the listening room. But it seems like a good tube for a decent price. :)
