Four superb albums! I was eagerly awaiting the LPs as they originally came out from the UK.These are "high resolution mastered from the 2004 DSD mastering". The redbook of those are superb. (They have not been released in Hi-Res.) Download cards are for WAV files. I don't see the resolution of those files. Didn't think I would re-buy these titles again, but these look very tempting.
Agreed, can't wait! Hope these sound as good as the half-speed mastered Solid Air by John Martyn. That's probably the best sounding LP I have. The only reservation I have for these is the extra hassle of 45rpm, but hoping the sound is worth it.
@Merrick - Those are the ones. ('Another Green World' initially had a glitch. They fixed that before they quit the initial packaging.) The jewel box versions after the digipak/slipsleeve are the same masterings. I was really impressed that those are flat transfers considering how great they sound. To do 4 albums in a row that don't need a lick of mastering is impressive to me.
@Merrick - "Rosalie" (the first word of the first line) on 'Everything Merges With The Night' is missing. In other words, if your CD starts with the word "Rosalie" on that song, you have a fixed one.
@Merrick I was hoping that you had the corrected version. If you wanted to try a used one, you wouldn't have to be concerned about the cover/case condition, maybe. I was admiring my 1st 4 titles in that slipcase series about a year ago. A little later burglars decided they wanted them (along with many other things). :(
