Enough bass for most, yeah, but lacking real low-end weight. Also, curious what your listening levels are like; cranking up on my old RS1s triggered pain after a while.

Ahh. That'd explain it (I'm a 70-80 or so dB, give or take, but definitely not above 80). The sound profile does lend itself to low-SPL listening.

Modi Multibit>Vali2 (stock tube) > SR325i, was initially afraid harsh treble since coming from HD600 but did not find much harshness at all.

One thing that really bad is stock earpad. I have to take it off every 20~30 mins and put back on after quick break. Will try different pads..

I occasionally listen to my SR225i. I agree with you about the poor pads, especially with glasses. Too bad because the headphones are fun with rock and metal.

L-cush pads should be labeled a a torture device. Wear them for more then an hour, and the tears will flow...

I could never truly get in to my HF-2s because of them.

I hate the L-Cushes. Had an aftermarket cheapo dome/flat hybrid that sounded nicer (to me) than stock, and was less prone to disintegration. More body in sound and much more comfortable too.

if so, that pad is not easy to source somehow. I might need to make one from 3rd party foam pad by apply coin mod and cut off edges a bit.. :)

Just got G pad and comfort drastically improved. Now I can let torture pad go...

Agh, just saw these, sorry. Anyway, nah, not the TTVJ flats. Will look for a link, but they're a great deal softer than L cush but are somewhat bowl shaped still.

And yep. G cushes do feel great compared to the Ls, but they don't do so hot with glasses.

Found a pic I took for my RS1 listing way back. These are the pads I was referring to:

Think you can just get them off eBay or wherever. Seriously good comfort vs stock.

@Lyer25 Thank you for the pic. I just searched on eBay and could not find it. it looks like fat version of L cushion. :)

They're really inexpensive. Could send you a pair (or just a link) if I come across them again, would be cool to see if your impressions align with mine and all :))
