Acoustic Sounds UHQR Releases

    Last year I had pre-ordered the one step Abraxas from Acoustic Sounds and they couldn't deliver because Mofi/Music Direct stiffed them on what they had ordered. Chad ended up calling all the people who got stiffed (super cool thing to do) and at the time and mentioned that AP would be bringing back "UHQR" to compete with the Mofi One Step releases. He offered to put me on the list to get a priority serial number and of course I jumped at that one.

    Got an email the other day and it looks like the UHQR is reality and shipping summer next year.



    Hand pressed using clarity vinyl. Lots of QC and care in the process.

    First release is Jimi Hendrix Axis: Bold as Love which is a record I like very much so I plan to order both a mono and a stereo copy.

    Will report when I have product in hand. I have all the Mofi one step and I don't think they live up to the hype as "best pressed records ever" but they are very very good.
